A Wonderful Day at The Furlongs: Celebrating Our New Show Homes Opening

Last week marked a special moment for everyone at Broadgate Homes as we officially opened our brand-new Show Homes and Sales Hub at The Furlongs at Holland Park. It was a day filled with excitement, community spirit, and a true sense of pride in the homes we create.

From the moment the doors opened, visitors were welcomed into thoughtfully designed spaces, calm interiors, and the warm atmosphere that sits at the heart of every Broadgate development. What made the day even more meaningful was the chance to bring people together to celebrate not just a new chapter for The Furlongs, but the community that will continue to grow here.

A First Look Inside Our New Show Homes

Guests were invited to explore multiple Show Homes, each showcasing the care, craft, and attention to detail that Broadgate is known for. From beautifully designed kitchens and light-filled living spaces to calm bedroom retreats, every room has been considered to support everyday living with ease and comfort.

The interiors were a particular highlight, with many visitors commenting on the soft colour palettes, elegant finishes, and the sense of space throughout. It was a pleasure to see people imagining how life might unfold in these homes — family meals, quiet evenings, busy mornings, and everything in between.

We were honoured to have the legendary Barry Fry and the ever-energetic Peter Burrow from Peterborough United officially open the new Sales Hub and Show Homes. Their enthusiasm brought wonderful energy to the event and made it a memorable moment for everyone involved. Their support for local communities reflects the very values at the heart of Broadgate Homes.

Supporting Local Causes This Christmas

In the spirit of the season, the opening also offered an opportunity to give back. We were proud to support two important charities:

• The Children’s Ward at Pilgrim Hospital
• The Children’s Bereavement Centre

Through donations of toys, selection boxes, and financial contributions, we aimed to help bring a little extra joy and comfort to children and families who may be facing challenging times. This initiative was warmly received, and it was wonderful to see visitors join us in supporting such meaningful causes.
